Until recently, Essex Thurrock and East Essex had combined resources to jointly run the Essex Academy. However, following discussions between the counties and EN, it was felt that we wanted to offer more for our young athletes and by separating, we could offer more opportunities to progress on the performance pathway.

Within Essex Thurrock we have two Player Development Programmes that are part of the England Netball Performance Pathway and consists of U15 and U13 Programme.

The programme has up to 1 cohort, per age group, across the county. Each cohort consists of approximately 20 athletes, delivering 60 hours of coaching from October through to May.
